Our science teacher gave us a project: grow a plant in two weeks. Tal and I worked together, but we had different ideas.
Tal wanted to put the plant in a dark closet because he thought plants grow faster at night. I wanted to put it by the window because plants need light. We couldn't agree, so we decided to grow two plants and compare them.
Every day, before school, we watered both plants. After school, we measured them and wrote the results in a notebook.
After one week, the plant by the window was tall and green. The plant in the closet was short and yellow. Tal was surprised, but he laughed. “OK, you were right,” he said.
In the end, we got an A because our experiment showed something important: plants need light to grow.
