I am writing this letter on my twelfth birthday. My teacher says that I will open it when I am twenty-two. Ten years is a long time, so I have a lot of questions for you!
First, will you still live in Haifa? I hope so, because I love the sea here. Will you still play basketball every Tuesday? I'm sure you will. Right now I'm the shortest boy on the team, but Dad says I will grow a lot.
I think you will study at the university. Maybe you will be an engineer and build bridges, like Grandpa. Or maybe you will be a doctor. I don't know yet, and that's OK.
I won't tell you what to do, but please don't forget a few things. Be kind to your family. Call Grandpa every Friday. And keep the photo of our old dog on your desk.
