Ari lives in Jerusalem, and his cousin Yoav lives in Tel Aviv. Every summer they argue: which city is better?

“Jerusalem is older than Tel Aviv,” says Ari. “It is over 3,000 years old! Tel Aviv is only a little over 100 years old.”

Jerusalem is also the biggest city in Israel, and in winter it is colder than Tel Aviv. Sometimes it even snows there!

“But Tel Aviv has the most beautiful beaches,” says Yoav, “and the weather is warmer in winter. Tel Aviv is also busier at night — the city never sleeps!”

In the end, they agree on one thing: the best city is the one where your family is.
