It is Monday morning. Mia wakes up early because it is her mom's birthday. She wants to make a surprise.
Mia goes to the kitchen. She takes flour, eggs, sugar and milk. She puts everything in a big bowl and mixes it. Then she adds chocolate. Yum!
After twenty minutes, the muffins are ready. They smell great. Mia puts them on a plate and writes a card: “Happy birthday, Mom! I love you so much.”
When her mom sees the muffins, she smiles. “Thank you, my sweet girl!”
