My grandpa loves old cars. Today he has a new car, but he often tells me about his first car.
Grandpa bought his first car in 1975. It was small and green. He paid for it with money from his first job. “That car was my best friend,” he says.
Every Friday, Grandpa washed the car. He drove it to the beach and to Jerusalem. Once, the car stopped in the middle of the road! Grandpa opened the hood and fixed the engine with a piece of string.
In 1990, Grandpa sold the green car. Now he keeps a photo of it on the wall. When I look at the photo, I smile.
