School ends next week, and the Peretz family has big plans for the summer.
In July, they will fly to Italy. They will stay in Rome for five days. Dad loves history, so he will visit the Colosseum. Mom will take photos of everything.
After Rome, they will travel by train to Venice. Venice has no cars — only boats! The kids will ride in a gondola on the canals.
Last summer, the family stayed at home, and the kids were bored. This summer will be different. Ella already bought a notebook. She will write about every day of the trip. Her brother, Guy, will collect postcards from every city.
“I will miss my friends,” says Guy, “but I will send them lots of photos!”
