This week my class is on a trip in the Negev desert. At night, there are no streetlights here, so the sky is very dark. Look up! There are millions of stars above us.

Our guide, Moshe, shows us the sky. “There is a planet next to the moon,” he says. “It is Jupiter.” Is there life on Jupiter? “No,” Moshe laughs, “there isn't any water on Jupiter.”

Near our tent, there is a small fire. There are twenty sleeping bags around it. There aren't any beds in the desert!

Suddenly there is a strange sound. What is it? It is only a camel. There are camels all over the Negev, and this one is hungry!
