Lior loves to bake. Every Friday, he wakes up early and makes bread for the whole family.
First, he mixes flour, water, salt and yeast in a big bowl. Then he kneads the dough for ten minutes. His arms hurt, but he never stops.
After that, he covers the bowl with a towel and waits. Slowly, the dough grows and becomes twice as big! Lior shapes the dough into a long braid and puts it in the oven.
While the bread bakes, the house smells wonderful. Lior's little sister runs into the kitchen and asks the same question every week: “Ready yet?” Lior smiles and answers, “Not yet!”
When the timer rings, Lior takes the bread out of the oven. At dinner, everybody says it tastes better than bread from the shop.
