Today the class goes on a trip to the forest. We go by bus. I sit next to Dana. Dana and I are best friends.
Mr. Cohen is the teacher. He tells the kids to stay on the path. “You must stay together,” he says. “It is easy to get lost here.”
In the forest, Dana sees a small brown rabbit. It runs into the bushes. Then Tom and Eli find a big tree with a hole. They look inside, and they see a bird's nest!
At noon, we eat lunch on the grass. I share a sandwich with Dana, and she shares a cookie. It is a great day!
